Creative Writing.

Rachel is currently revising and illustrating her coming-of-age novel Fugue, experimenting with a musical substructure. You can follow her progress via her Substack, A Work in Process.

Her writing was published in Mothers’ Days for Labor: Motherhood & Art in 2020, the inaugural exhibition of the University Art Museum at New Mexico State University. Compiled by Lenka Clayton for her Artist Residency in Motherhood (ARiM), Mothers’ Days featured accounts of an ordinary Monday—15 July 2019—by mother artists around the world.
